Join the ladies of the CUSF Women’s program, Project Mapleseed and LadyGuns for this episode of “She Shoots.”
This month we talked to Amanda Fisher and Laura Seitz; IPSC, USPSA and Steel Challenge competitive shooters. We’ll talk about how they got into the sport, their success stories and maybe some flops and what they learned from them.
Guest Speakers:
Amanda Fisher
Laura Seitz
Laura is also a Range Officer at her home range, the Okotoks Rifle and Pistol Club. This year she will be taking on the role as a Match Director for an IPSC qualifier at BTSA. She will also be competing in AB and SK Provincials, the Canadian National Steel Challenge and the Canadian IPSC Nationals in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
There have been several businesses that have been supporting her in her shooting journey. She would like to thank DoubleTap Sports, Notch and Post Custom, Lok Grips and Okotoks Rifle and Pistol Club for their continuing support.
One of the things that She really enjoys about this sport, is that it is not gender specific and both young and old can participate. It is her hope to be able continue shooting for many more years.
